Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Colossians 3:16

Dear Camden Assembly Friends,

In light of the developing situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to share with you some of the things we are doing as a church in order to stay in line with faith and wisdom. Santa Clara County has extended its order to “Shelter in Place” effective immediately and continuing through Sunday, May 31, 2020.  We are complying with this order.  ALL services are canceled until Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Pastor Hyatt is available by phone (408-371-3770 or 408-849-9334) for prayer or other needs, and can also be reached by email at pastoralanhyatt@att.net.

The Sunday morning sermon will still be available every Sunday at 10:45 a.m., live streamed on the internet on the Camden Assembly Facebook page.  In addition, the Wednesday night Bible Study will also be available on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., also live streamed on the Facebook.

Recorded Sermons and Bible Studies

As always, your health and safety are our priority.  Let us stay in a place of faith and prayer, as the world, our nation and our community are attacked with corona virus.

Latest News

An important date for our Pastoral Election is coming up on Monday, May 11, at 6:00 p.m.  The Church Board is working on ways to conduct this event in line with the existing coronavirus rules.  This election is mandated by our church constitution and is for church members ONLY.  A letter is being mailed to voting members with pertinent information.  If you have not received your letter by May 3, please call the church office (408-371-3770) or Sharon Pine (408-371-3706).

Some other upcoming items of interest include the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 7, and the South Bay Gospel Jubilee, planned for Saturday, May 16.  The Day of Prayer is still in effect, remotely, with information available on the internet at www.nationaldayofprayer.org.  The prayer guide, Pray God’s Glory Across the Earth, is available at the church for your personal use.  (If you would like a prayer guide mailed to you, please call the church or Sharon Pine.)

The May Jubilee has been canceled, and the next one is scheduled for August 1.  Also, the June 27 Car Show is postponed until September 12.

Thank you for your prayers for our Assemblies of God World Missions Director, Greg Mundis.  His condition has improved greatly, thanks to your prayers and great medical care.  Keep it up!

Here is an update from April 25:

Greg Mundis Hallelujah! Update:  Greg is out of ICU after being in a medically induced coma for 5 weeks, is off the ventilator, his infections have all cleared and he is talking. THANK YOU to all of you who have prayed so much for my dear friend and boss! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
